Sticks and Stones
I meant to write about this last week but could not get to it. What a week! I started our on Monday with J falling off her scooter again and requiring 2 stitches in her forehead. She fell and had 6 stitches next to her eye about a month ago. On Friday E fell on the scooter and cut his nose. (See post below) He went to the emergency room and they glued the cut shut instead of stitching it. Then to top it off on Sunday I started having a pain, I went to the emergency room and wouldn't you know it... another kidney stone. They gave me so much pain medication it took me a whole 24 hrs. to sleep it off. I'm glad the week is over and I hope we do not have many weeks like this in the future.
Soccer Success
Evan was so cute at soccer this week. He actually played like we knew he could. I think the difference was that we took him to Grandmas for the older kids games and he was not sitting at the field for 2 hours before his game.

Happy Air Force Week
We went to the airshow this past weekend at Hill Air Force Base. I was a little hesitant to go because I wasn't sure what it was or if it would be fun. WOW we had a great time. We set up a little "camp" with our chairs and umbrella and sat and watched the airplanes go over. The Thunderbirds were amazing to watch. What an awesome Military we have here in the U.S. All the planes move too fast for us to get a very good picture of them in the air. We also enjoyed all the planes flying over the valley all week long. You never knew what you were going to see next.

The Truth About Us
Frequently I look at peoples blogs and they have lots of cute pictures about what they did and how wonderful their family is and I start to feel bad. I have to remind myself that those are pictures of everybody at their best. I hope this picture cheers everyone up who has ever felt the way I felt. This is us at bedtime on an average day. The house is a mess. I am tired, I look bad, and I am grumpy. Our two year old hits and kicks, our five year old cries and sucks her thumb, the baby just cries and our seven year old ...well don't let the smile fool you. Hope you all feel better now!
