Sticks and Stones

I meant to write about this last week but could not get to it. What a week! I started our on Monday with J falling off her scooter again and requiring 2 stitches in her forehead. She fell and had 6 stitches next to her eye about a month ago. On Friday E fell on the scooter and cut his nose. (See post below) He went to the emergency room and they glued the cut shut instead of stitching it. Then to top it off on Sunday I started having a pain, I went to the emergency room and wouldn't you know it... another kidney stone. They gave me so much pain medication it took me a whole 24 hrs. to sleep it off. I'm glad the week is over and I hope we do not have many weeks like this in the future.

Soccer Success

Evan was so cute at soccer this week. He actually played like we knew he could. I think the difference was that we took him to Grandmas for the older kids games and he was not sitting at the field for 2 hours before his game.
After this game he was walking around the house with a whistle and a ball claiming to be coach Dave and saying "you made a goal" and then high fiving everyone.

Here we are hanging out in the shade. Photos are compliments of Evan. Pretty good for a three year old photographer.

Jamie scored a goal this week too and her team won thier game. Casey's team tied and though I did not see his game I heard he played some great defense.

What a Guy!

On Friday I so needed to get my hair done so Chris took Evan on his Pre-school field trip to the zoo. He even took the baby. It looks like they had such a great time!
I am a little jealous that I did not get to see the baby elephant and we may just have to go back to see him.

This is the fun toy he got for his birthday. Of course it is CARS.
Grandma made him a really yummy birthday cake. My favorite Jello cake with cool whip frosting. I was so sad I couldn't have any it is loaded with dairy.

This card is cool! When you open it make music. Evan walked around for days carrying this every where and march/dancing to the music.
Evan turned 3. But if you ask him he insists he is still 2. We had a really fun birthday party at Grandma Kathy's. She decorated everything in CARS paraphernalia.

Casey's Baptism

Casey turned 8 this past summer and chose to be baptized.
We had a great day with many friends from our ward family attending.
He was surely supported by his many friends. Thanks to everyone who attended and especially to those who helped.
